AANE would like to thank the 80 volunteers of the Wellesley Hills Junior Woman's Club (WHJWC) and Wendy del Real, their 2005-2006 Donations Chairperson, for their recent generous donation to the Asperger's Association of New England (AANE). This is the second time that the WHJWC has chosen to fund AANE's work. Funds from the WHJWC will help AANE subsidize the hefty information packets we mail out free to families of children and teens with Asperger Syndrome. The Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to community service. Three fundraisers: publication of the Wellesley Phone Book, The Marketplace Craft Fair and the Kitchen Tour, provide scholarships for Wellesley students and support many area charitable organizations.
AANE would like to thank the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts for renewing its funding for the AANE Western Mass. Chapter. This year donations came from two funds:
- Eugene A. Dexter Charitable Fund (Bank of America Trustee)
- Credit Data Services, 2nd Fund
These funds will support our Western Mass Adult Social Group, and enable us to offer some workshops for parents in western Mass.
AANE is also very grateful to:
- Liberty Mutual
- The Rebecca Pomroy Foundation, Inc.
- The John W. Alden Trust
- The Edwin Phillips Foundation
