My decision to include charitable organizations in Trinidad and Tobago on my site stems from my own need to help my native land as well as a reaction to all the Trinbagonians I know, especially expatriates, who like to talk (incessantly) about the islands' demise while not lifting a finger to do anything about it. This is the beginning of me doing something about it. I hope others will follow.

The organizations currently featured on the site are all non-profit organizations that provide important services to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. I wanted to focus on organizations that are dealing with domestic violence, rape, and child abuse as these forms of violence are becoming more rampant in Trinbagonian society. In the future, I hope to include information about organizations seeking to improve the general infrastructure of Trinidad and Tobago as well as those organizations wishing to preserve the islands' natural beauty.
