Web Content Developer

Working with our Webmaster, this person will assist him in the design and implementation of new Be web site services and areas and will take primary responsibility for content maintenance in some of those areas, particularly in customer and technical support. This involves the integration of external software packages and custom-developed tools, as well as interfacing Be's web site systems with order entry, administration, accounting and external support services' systems. The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of HTML, common web design & administration tools, and proven experience writing CGIs in Perl, C, and/or Frontier; the ability to learn new software and/or languages as needed is critical. It is essential that this person have prior experience in designing and maintaining complex web sites with customer and/or technical support functions. This is a primarily a technical position, but additional experience in design and layout is a plus. Qualifications: Minimum BS Computer Science or Engineering 3 years experience in software engineering or support Proven web site design, implementation, and maintenance (include URLs with application)
