(left) One day, we went horseback riding in Napa Valley. Jodie's horse was named "Blue". Adam's horse, "Bandito", was raised in Mexico and trained in Spanish. Bandito responded to "¡Anda le!"
The ride was in Jack London State Park where the Ewok scenes from Return of the Jedi were filmed! Just to the left (out of view) is one of the largest and oldest redwoods in the area, roughly 2000 years old. We didn't see any Ewoks.
It was over 100 degrees in the valley that day, but it was a bit more comfortable in the shade. Afterwards, we drove out to the coast where it was much cooler. (below)
