I work for a homecare agency. The OIG has maintained a list of Excluded Individuals and Entities for healthcare jobs can be viewed on-line. The OIG - Office of the Inspector General's Internet address is: http://www.dhhs.gov/progorg/oig. Click "Electronic Reading Room" and then click "Cumulative Sanctions" and you are there. Or, you could probably find out through your contracted HCFA intermediary. Hope this helps!
: I understand that as a part of hospitals' corporate compliance programs, we are required to screen new hire candidates from exclusion of medicare/medicaid programs. There is a web site that we can access. Has anyone seen the rules as to whom this is to cover and policies to do it?
