The forum is for open discussion of any topic. By "discussion" it means that this is more like a newsgroup than a chat room. Please don't treat it like one — there is a difference. It can also be treated like a guestbook, and you can share comments about the site or whatever topoic you wish. Topics should be New York City related if possible, or focus on entertainment or the creative arts. Nightlife, restaurants, jobs, liefstyle, apartments, it's open season for discussion. Just please DO NOT post any inappropriate ads (requests for sex, pyramid schemes, that sort of thing), as they will be deleted.

Some may recall that I used to run a web site devoted to theatre, so theatre is definitely an okay topic to discuss here!

Posting is easy and fast. Just fill in the boxes at the bottom of the forum's main page (where all of the threaded discussions appear) and submit your posting. If you click on the "post" link at the top of the forum, you will be taken to a separate page with the same posting form as appears at the bottom of the list of messages.

Required Fields: Some fields are required. If you try to submit a posting without all of the required fields filled out, you will receive an error message and be required to fill in the missing information before your post can be processed. The required fields are Name, Subject and Message. You don't have to include your email address if you don't wish.

Depending on your browser, your posting may or may not appear when you return to the main list of messages after submitting it. If your message does not appear, please use the "refresh" link at the top of the page or else refresh your browser. Your message should appear once the screen has been refreshed. If it does not, wait a few minutes and try refreshing again.

Avoid posting multiple versions of the same message if you don't see yours appear right away! Be patient and try refreshing first!
