Here are a few shots of my little race-car. It's a 1974.5 MGB GT, #361148. I am very proud of this little bugger, and I really don't know why. My goal is to have it substantially restored by it's 30th birthday in October 2004, but we'll see how that goes.

The reason this GT is special is because it was part of a limited production run in 1974. Between September and December, Abingdon only produced about 3000 of these machines, particularly GTs with dual SU carburetors and rubber bumpers. About half of that production came to North America.

Below are some quick snapshots of this little gem; much more to come. Please email me with suggestions and donations! I accept PayPal!

May01 - Delivery of my "new" car! I picked up the GT from an online sale and drove it all the way to Boston from Long Island.

Jun02 - A nice image of the GT after getting a bath. Soon after this photo I started to tear into the interior. More pics on the way...
Oct02 - Took the GT down to New England DynoTuning in Worcester, MA. Run 1 was slightly warm, but dirty! Run 2 was without air cleaners.
Oct02 - Runs 3 & 4 were also done with the air cleaners removed. The power is right were it should be for an unrestored car.
