I am blessed with a family in which everyone is so special that almost anything they do may provide an occasion for writing about. Mostly humorous. The acronym some of us have considered appropriate to describe what we’re like is the NOPE-y Family. NOPE stands for Not On Planet Earth. And we do each have quirks and tendencies which set us apart from many others. And even make us misfits. As all misfits, we are frequently unaware of these quirks and tendencies. But when we do notice, we don’t mind too much. We’ve learned not to. Because, since we can’t change who we are anyway, we might as well just enjoy being us.

I’ve loved observing these quirks and tendencies so much through the years, that several years ago I started writing about them. Here are some of those stories. These stories are my love poem to my family. The NOPE-y Family.
