Illustrations

If you are in group 2 (colonial schooling), group 3 (everyday life) or group 4 (colonial clothing) you may create a detailed illustration showing what your article is about.

*For example, if you are writing an article about colonial schools, you may want to research what a school back in colonial times looked like, illustrate it, label it and color it in.

*If you are writing an article about everyday life, you may want to illustrate a scene of colonial people participating in games, hobbies, chores, etc.

*If you are writing an article about colonial clothing, you may want to illustrate an example of a colonial man, woman or child wearing the latest fashions from their day!

If you choose to use an illustration for your project, make sure you use LOTS of detail and color! I should not see any white on your paper (unless something in your picture is white!).
