David is an adorable, even-tempered, loving child who likes affection. David is deaf and non-verbal but is learning basic sign language for the visually impaired. Although he does not speak, he vocalizes a lot and will let you know when he likes or dislikes something. He can let you know if he wants your assistance, like turning the light off at bedtime. He can sign Mama, and understands Dad, sister, bath. He also just learned to sing in a loud voice. David likes to interact with others and likes to hold his caregiver’s hand. He likes to ride in the car and can go on outings. His special interest is vibrating toys. He likes to sit on the vibrating easy chair, which helps keep his lungs clear.
