described as a handsome child who is developing normally, but has some
speech delays due to his compromised hearing. He does have some
hearing,
but the untreated hearing loss is significant enough to cause him
difficulty with verbal communication. His caretaker described him as
an
active, energetic extroverted boy. He always has a ready smile and
enjoys picture books. He has a great appetite and his caretakers noted
that he will eat just about anything. He often expresses his feelings
by
laughing and sometimes by fussing. He gets along well with all of his
friends. He especially enjoys playing outdoors with his buddies, often
with great joy, but is said to be content to sit and play alone as
well.
He likes to bang a wooden hammer and plays with wooden blocks. He can
hold objects firmly and has good motor skills. His caretakers say he
