Chemotherapy at Sloan-Kettering Friday June 19th...

Showing a fine follow-through as the ball sails into the distance...
...actually, it wasn't that great a shot...

What a difference! Yuka has been taking great care of me and feeding me well. This week I've had three tough classes and I've had a good workout at the gym. My weight is back to my normal 176 and I feel great. Today I went with some of the guys from work down to Chelsea Piers to hit some golf balls at the driving range and have a nice lunch at a brewery on the Hudson. Then it was back to work, then home for a quick shower, then to a tough class, then dinner and soon to bed.
My visit to the doctor went well. My blood is still totally normal and all my vital signs are great. I don't have any hair loss yet, but that will change in the next week. They also expect my blood platelets and my red and white blood cells counts to start decreasing in the coming week. We'll see what happens. But the doctors are very pleased so far.
My next chemotherapy has been postponed until the week of July 6th. Apparently the chemo ward is closed on the 3rd of July. That put me off a bit, but there is not much I can do.
Well, no complaints other than that, so I'm feeling really great. I'm ready for the weekend!
