Welcome to the home page of the Bangor & Wilson Creek Railroad.

This page will document the construction of the N-scale (1:160) railsystem located in Wilson
Boro
Pennsylvania.  The B&WC, Yorkaster Sub division is inspired by the Union Pacific
Railroads Triple Track Main line, located between
North Platte NE and Gibbon Jct. NE.  Although
Union Pacific is the primary prototype modeled, this model does not represent any one specific
locale along the line, and
Bangor, Wilson Creek and Yorkaster do not exist along the triple track
main, they are just a conglomeration of places I have lived along:

Wilson – Represents Wilson Boro PA
Bangor – Represents Bangor Boro PA
Creek – Represents Elm Creek, NE (Which is along the Triple
Main)
Yorkaster – Represents York and
Lancaster, PA.

Although I never lived in York, PA, I worked their for many years, and I liked the sound of Yorkaster…so I just combined them.

The following will take you to various locations throught the webpage, representing
the progress in the layout, some photos, some information, and other tid bits....So sit
back, grab your throttle handle, drop it down to Run 8, and head on down the line.
