Beaux J. Poo Boo
. . . and a funky young soul is he.
-
Released:
-
1965 on Limelight # LM-82025 / LS-86025 (LP; gatefold)
1965 on Limelight # LM-82031 / LS-86031 (LP; sleeve)
-
Note:
-
This album was issued under two different catalog numbers: First,
with an unusual gatefold cover containing a paper "pop-up" and
liner note booklet insert; second, with a standard sleeve cover
and back liner notes. Online listings often refer to the first
album title as simply Poo Boo, but this is incorrect.
Both releases have the same title and front cover art (baby photo
of "Beaux J. Poo Boo," i.e., Les McCann), and identical
music content.
