Here's the first cat, Vronsky, in a big green bowl. He doesn't fit in it very well now, but he played in it when he was a kitten.

This is me and Vronsky in front of our old aquarium, when he was about the same age: when we first got him. His mouth is open because he taking a big yawn for a little kitten. | When Miranda was young, she was much lighter. Her fur became really dark after the first year or so. |

They like to sleep together, so here they are. Miranda is still mostly fawn colored still. | After we moved into the house they, of course took to looking out the windows. This is a dark picture of Vronsky engaged in one of his favorite pastimes: watching the bird bath in the front yard. Actually there is a lot of activity out there, with people walking by, the cars, and the squirrels. The big picture window goes almost to the floor, so the cats like to sit up there and watch. The window has cat nose prints across it. |

Because the backyard has a fence around it, we eventually started letting them go out. They are both declawed, so letting them run loose in the neighborhood would be dangerous. In good weather, they both like to go out. | Miranda is usually the first to want back in. Sometimes she is patient, like here, but she often lets her wishes be known vocally. |

Sometimes they both want in at the same time. Here's a close up of Miranda that Michele took. (Miranda would not come up to me like this.) To the right is what happens if we are outside and Vronsky decides it's time to join us.

Since then, we put Miranda's perch up attached to the window sil, so she can sit in her hammock. | Another place that Miranda likes to go is the closets. Usually this hall closet, but this time she has a visitor. |

Since Miranda likes to get inside things, boxes are no exception. We don't have a good picture of her inside a paper bag though. |
