Rancho Cicada logo Rancho Cicada is a full-service retreat in a beautiful and secluded natural setting. Intimately nestled along the rocky banks of the Cosumnes River. They are especialy set up to accommodate private groups, parties, and organizations.

Owner David Roberts, a former elementary school teacher with special interest in the natural sciences, has designed a retreat facility with minimum impact on the natural environment.

Cicada (si-ka-de): an insect, having a broad head, membranous wings; and in the male a pair of resonating organs that produce a characteristic; high-pitched droning sound. (Probably of Mediterranean origin.)
