Select FILE from the PROGRAM MANAGER (USE START FOR WINDOWS 95) 2. Select RUN. Then search for the file (browse button) in the directory where you downloaded from the WEB. The file is SSTEKDMO.EXE 3. Select OK. File will now automatically decompress. Win-Zip will tell you what directory the files will go into. Accept the default. Close Win-Zip when done. 4. Now you need to set-up IMAGE DEPOT. So select FILE from the PROGRAM MANAGER, START button for Windows 95. 5. Select RUN. Then browse for the file SETUP.EXE in the directory that you just decompressed from the previous step. Use the browse button to search. It will be in the directory listed by Win-Zip in step 3. 6. Select OK. Install will now begin. Just follow instructions on the screen. Accept all the defaults. 7. IMAGE DEPOT PRO is now installed. 8. Next you need to install the image files and the script to run them. Select RUN or START as you did in steps 1 & 2, and browse for the file TUBESAVE.EXE in the directory where you downloaded into. 9. Select OK. Win-Zip will run the executable program. It will tell you what folder the files will be unzipped into. Please accept all of the defaults. 10.Click the button indicated to unzip the files into the proper directory. Don't worry about overwriting files, this is necessary for the proper operation of the Tubesaver. Close Win-Zip when done. IF YOU NEED TO UNINSTALL THIS SOFTWARE JUST DELETE SSTEKPRO.SCR (Windows Directory) and the files in the directory c:\teknov8n\ssimgdp AND the following files in your C:\windows\system directory (C:\windows for Windows 3.1x): FXLBL400.VBX FXIMG400.VBX FXMTX400.VBX FXTLS400.DLL IMGFX400.DLL INICON3.VBX FXSND400.VBX FXVID400.VBX WAVEMIX.DLL ****************************************************************** TO SET-UP YOUR SCREENSAVER FOR VIEWING ****************************************************************** 1. From the Windows PROGRAM MANAGER select the MAIN program group. (Windows 95 users, just right click anywhere on the desktop. Select PROPERTIES, then the SCREEN SAVERS tab, and skip to step 4). 2. From the MAIN group select CONTROL PANEL. 3. Select the DESKTOP icon and double click. 4. From the SCREEN SAVER box select the name IMAGE DEPOT PRO. 5. Then select SETUP 6. Your IMAGE DEPOT setup screen will be displayed. It will show a list of all the selected objects to be shown in the screen saver. Click the DONE button and close the setup window if all is well. Skip to step 12. Windows 95 may show a blank list and an error message. Just follow the steps below. 7. Select file, and select OPEN OBJECT PROFILE. 8. In the dialog box, double click the C drive, double click the TEKNOV8N directory, and double click the SSIMGP subdirectory. 9. Select the file SSTEKDMO.INI, click OK, click on the window title bar and drag it up to the top of your screen. You can now see the DONE button, and click it. Steps 10 and 11 are optional if you want to change the screen saver properties. Please test the current setup of TUBESAVER first, you'll like it! 10.Now you can click on each object file in the box, click the MODIFY OBJECT PROFILE, and change the dissolve, speed, background, title and other parameters of each screen saver picture. See how I have configured the TUBESAVER, first, by testing it. You may not want to change anything! 11.Make your modifications then select OK. Or just click OK without making any modifications. The cool part about this screen saver is that you can leave it as is, or change it in many different ways. You can even add your own images, sounds, MIDI music, and even video clips! Read the HELP files in the setup screen for details on how to make your own screen saver. The README.TXT file in the TEKNOV8N\SSIMGDP directory has more information and the latest updates to version 3.1.1 12.Set the DELAY MINUTES in the SCREEN SAVER box. 13.Select OK. Your screensaver will now start automatically after the DELAY MINUTES interval. Be sure to test it first!
