Some pictures from my recent IV-18 VFD clock project.

Nothing too special on this one:

AVR ATMEGA48.

PCF8583 RTC.

Open loop VPP generation.

Extruded aluminum enclosure.

Two mosfet driver chips are used to generate the AC for the filament.

LDR dims display in low light conditions.

 

One interesting assembly detail was to sandwich the VFD driver chip within the right hand support plate.

4 SMD tactile switches are in the left plate to set time and options.

 

No schematic on this one,  there are plenty of better examples already on the web.
