Animals come to Heaven's Gift because the care they require, as a direct result of
abuse or neglect, is so substantial, it precludes them from being adopted.
Animals are referred to us from the various shelters, rescues, and animal welfare
organizations across the region.
An animal is determined unadoptable after evaluations by veterinary experts, as well
as verification of abuse.

This website is dedicated to our beloved "Duchess" and "Rocky."
Rescued from different abusive homes at the age of two,
they fought with dignity to overcome their disabilities.
On July 22, 2002 after 8 years of love and companionship
"Duchess" went to run in the fields of Heaven.
On July 30, 2003, "Rocky" went to join her.
We miss them both very much.
