Strange signs in the Chicago sky

An innocent day's sailing in the friendly confines of Chicago Harbor reveals many ominous portents in the sky.

The Chicago skyline on a beautiful autumn day in late August...
...was suddenly marred by strange BLACK HELICOPTERS (see arrow). Were these bearing U.N. troops bent on conquering America? If so, why didn't they start with someplace more managable, like Rhode Island?
Unsual cloud formations began to appear....
Strange shapes sped by the stays of our sailboat...
...and more strange shapes.
Confusion over the temporary closing of Meigs Field has led to a number of attempted landings on Navy Pier....
Now we know why you don't see things like this covered live on TV.
It's difficult to capture the experience of being there.
But sometimes, you get a bonus if you're patient....
A migratory water fowl leads her young? (Don't think so....)

On a technical note, the above images were captured from the dive video with the Snappy Video Snapshot device. It was tough to get snaps out of the two frames when the jet zoomed by you at Mach 2....
