ABOUT OUR SERVICE

Colrain Volunteer Ambulance Association Inc. (CVAAI), is a privately owned, non-profit ambulance service which provides ALS (Advanced Life Support) service to the town of Colrain, MA., and surrounding towns through mutual aid agreements. CVAAI also offers support and education services to the Colrain Fire and Police Depts., and local community.

MEMBERS

At present we have a number of EMT's of various training levels. Our membership also brings with it a varied background of medical and educational experiences. This background ranges from -

Registered Nurses

CPR Instructors (American Heart) / Instructor Trainers

First Responders and First Aid Instructors

Paramedic / Intermediate / Basic EMT Level Training

Fire Fighters / EMT's

Farmedics Certified EMT's (training in agricultural emergencies)

EMT Instructor

TRAINING

During the course of a year CVAAI holds in house training classes for our members as well as CPR and First Responder classes for our Police and Fire departments. We also sponsor EMT training classes that are offered to our townsfolk for a reduced fee. See the CVAAI training schedule for more information on upcoming training.
