UNIT EXPERIENCE IN WORLD CONQUEST
Most units in World Conquest will maintain an experience rating. The main effect
of this experience rating is to augment their individual ToHit% ratings. These
ratings are Green, Trained, Veteran, Crack, and Elite and are noted on the Unit
Report as G, T, V, C, or E, respectively. Normally, these units, when built,
will have a Green experience rating. When a unit that keeps track of endurance
is built, it will start out as Green quality. The effect of a units experience
level on its ToHit% is detailed in the following chart:
Green........-10% ToHit
Trained...... +0% ToHit
Veteran...... +5% ToHit
Crack........+10% ToHit
Elite........+20% ToHit
A unit gains experience points as a result of combat. Whenever a unit scores a
hit against an enemy unit in combat, it will gain 1 experience point. At the
moment its experience point total pushes it into the next higher experience
level, it will immediately fight according to its new experience rating. Bombers
will also gain 1 experience point for every bomb load that hits.
