These are picture modifications I did for my Digital Media class...

I used 4 pictures for this project: the pic of Chloe going head to head with the blowup doll, the picture of the beer-meister, and the 2 pictures of the back of the jeep (the Eagle logos). First I cut out a mask of Chloe and the blow up football player she was facing. I put them in a new file with a drop shadow behind them. Next I merged the two Eagle logo pics into one to create a white transparent logo of 55% with a drop shadow. I took the Eagle magnets off the fridge and added a drop shadow to them. Then I placed a green layer and cut out an oval in it and added a glow to it, putting Chloe, the logo, and the blow up player behind it so they were framed by that layer. I placed the magnates on top of this layer, one in each corner. I was done at this point but the background was transparent so I added 2 extra layers behind everything, one green and one white. I made the green layer 71% transparent so it wasn't as dark. Lastly I increased the canvas size a bit and added black to the last layer so it looked like there was a black frame around the picture. The green layer with the glow gave the frame a glowing effect too.

For this edit, first thing I did was Extract the outline of the Crispies from the rest of the pic. I then took the original pic and changed the mode to Greyscale, then RGB. I then moved the outline of the Crispies back over. The second modification was adding a green Glow around the colored Crispies using the Stylize -> Glowing Edges filter. Lastly, I simple applied the Artistic -> Color Pencil filter to the Crispies. Hope you like the 3 edits.
