Socata Tangara aka Grumman Cougar

Socata Tangara

Scale RC Model Construction and Flight

This is the advertisement I first saw for it. The most beautiful airplane in the sky.

Here's an early pic of the fuse. The tail and covering are next.

In this one the wing is framed up and the landing gear is in.

Here the wing is sheeted and the nacelles are finished.

Almost finished!!!! !

As of (7-28-00) It has had three short flights of about 5 minutes each. The First

Flight was uneventful. The second flight, however, ended in the top a a very tall tree. It

was only slightly damaged when the tree-climber dropped it fom abut 25 feet up. The third

flight was about the same as the first except The left (#1) engine was dead-stick

The left LG twisted again on landing.

At last ! It's ALL DONE !!

see the spec sheet tb320.htm of the real plane. or Site SOCATA
