Video Quality

The video in this DVD was excellent. Very true to the actual movie. Every little thing was very clear and I loved all the explosions. The gunfire and fire were all crystal clear. No grains or artifacts or anything of that sort. Just gave me the nice and raw image, it's what I want!

Audio Quality

Ok...this Saving Private Ryan's Dolby Digital 5.1 audio beat any other movie I've ever seen hands down! Bullets were wizzing all around the room! From behind my right shoulder to the left in front of me...explosions exploding somewhere behind me and a guy flying in front of me! The audio is so good, I felt lucky to have walked out of my room without an injury. I felt bullets wiz right at me and then some unlucky soldier takes the bullet for me and falls down. I can't believe how great this soundtrack was. It's wonderful! Here's a PURE reference quality DVD for audio. If you have a good setup, you play this for any DVD Non-believer and you will make a believer with just the Normandy invasion!

DVD Quality

The stuff included in the DVD was decent. It had enough features to make me happy, but to get full 5 stars, you need to overwhelm me. The menu section (as you see below) wasn't too shabby. To get a nice 5 stars, it has to be so long, that I hesitate to actually write them down. What was really good about this DVD was that all the features were actually useful and nice. Some DVD's pack so much useless information you wonder where the movie is. Even though, this DVD has got to be the best well-rounded DVD of my collection as of today.
