A Cape Cod New Years Celebration

New Years Eve 1996 in Falmouth, Cape Cod featured fireworks over the town square, and a bonfire at midnight. This was a miraculous moment, because the bonfire wood was wet, and would not light. In a truly nautical tradition, the man in charge stuck a boat flare in the pile, and with minutes to spare, the good town of Falmouth saw in 1996 with bonfire blazing!
