PETRA KELLY SPEAKS TO POWER: Environmentalist, Pacifist, co-founder of the German Green Party, Sakharov Prize nominee and one of the leading proponents of the Eco-Feminist school of thought,Petra Kelly was one of the most influential women of this century. Her murder in 1992 has not diminished the value of both her work and her insight. PETRA KELLY SPEAKS TO POWER is a play about her life. Developed in residency with the Peaceworks Project, PETRA KELLY SPEAKS TO POWER was given a staged reading at the Gene Frankel Theater in New York on May 6, 1996.
