THE RULES FOR STAYING IN GOOD GRACE: I have extensive esperience with the rudeness that Mensa members can deploy - not only at Mensa functions but particularly on newslists and other Internet venues. Civility will be rigidly enforced. It will be enforced for one reason only...we lose members when incivility appears. I will do this by posting a private warning message to the person who was uncivil, warning then that IMO (In My Opinion) they have breeched the basic rules of civility and any further instance will warrant suspension of privilege for period of time commensurate with the offense. This warning will be copied to the offended party. I will not edit but will (probably) send a submission back if it is not sufficiently proofread. |
