I know this page and it's photos are a little out of date, but I had been meaning to set up and post this page and it's pictures for a long time; so here it is..
I am a huge Alice in Chains fan, and a huge Jerry Cantrell fan. There is something about his style of writing, playing that I can relate to.
With the release of Jerry's new album, "Degradation Trip," in 2002, he started his tour opening for Nickelback by having a show in little Wilmington, DE at the Kahunaville Restaurant and Nightclub in June of 2002.
A local Philadelphia radio-station, Y100 WPLY - FM 100.3 (now a Hip-hop station), that covered the modern rock scene, had Jerry play what they call a "Y100 Sonic Session" at a renouned Philadelphia Recording studio, "Indre Studios" prior to him going down to Wilmington to play that night. These sessions are usually "unplugged" or acoustic and are in an intimate setting with a few people invited to attend to watch, and take pictures.
I happened to know someone who used to work at Y100, and she still has contacts there, and managed to get me some tickets to see this Sonic Session. - Thank You Cristin!!!! I still owe you!!!
