19 Apr 1782 - Anne Brown is mentioned in the will of her father Adam Broyles, Washington Co., TN. She inherits 5 shillings, which is a remarkably small amount when compared to what her brothers and sisters got. Perhaps she had already received her inheritance.

- Hugh and Anne moved with her brothers Aaron and Joshua and sister Jemima to South Carolina.

17 Sep 1793 - Hugh Brown is one of the appraisers of the estate of John Cobb, in Pendleton district, S.C. [38]:5

5 May 1810 - A Hugh Brown witnesses the will of Susannah Woodrow, in Washington Co., TN. Probated Feb 1812. [8]:12
