There are certain discrepancies with the birthdates of some of Ephraim's children. [1] does not have the years of birth for Thomas and Fannie. Those listed are supplied from the census. [3]7:56 gives Mary's birthdate as 4 May 1811, Levi's as 27 Mar 1825, and Joseph's death date as 24 Sep 1905. John and Polly are listed as possible children by [3]7:56, however, note that John's and Joseph's birthdates are too close together.

1810...1831 - Ephraim is on the tax list of Monroe Co., VA. [51]

1832 - He moved to Rush Co., Ind., then on to Madison Co., Ind. [3]4:48

1840 - Elizabeth Broyles is living in Madison Co., IN. Sons Thomas, Madison, and Anderson are in the area.

1850 - Elizabeth Broils is listed in the census of Madison Co., IN. Her children Fanny, Delilah, Goodlow, and Joseph are living with her.
