Daniel was the first of the family to move to Missouri if the tradition is correct. However, it seems somewhat unlikely given that all of his children were born in Virginia and his wife remarried there. Perhaps they had returned from Missouri in order to sell their property before making a final move. In any case, after Daniel's death Jane remarried, and with her new husband and the children by Daniel, moved to Lincoln Co., MO.
c. 1822 - He moved to Lincoln Co., Missouri. [3]4:69,104
2 Aug 1823 - His widow remarries to Jonah Morris in Monroe Co.
16 Sep 1823 - Inventory of Daniel Broyles is presented in Monroe Co., VA. The property valuation was $343.99½ [52] Apparently he had not completed the move to Missouri before his death. In other instances we've seen, it isn't unusual for someone to move, and not sell all of their old property for several years.
11 Oct 1823 - The children are mentioned in the will of their grandfather Peter as children of "Daniel, dec'd."
Jan 1824 - A list of sales is presented in Monroe Co., Va. [82]
30 Mar 1867 - Jonah Morris makes his will in Lincoln Co., Mo. It is probated 6 Jun 1867, and mentions his wife Jane all of his children by her. [3]8:25
