Retirement Account - 408(K)
DELCOM makes available to all employees a 408(K) retirement plan. From the first day of
employment, participants may elect to have up to 15% of their salary (with certain deferral
limits based on salary) deposited into an IRS tax-deferred investment.
The plan is managed by Fidelity Investments.
Medical and Dental Insurance
DELCOM shares 75% of the cost of comprehensive medical and dental coverage with
employees on a pre-tax basis. Benefits are delivered through a major
insurance carrier. Employees are eligible for medical coverage after one month of service.
Group Life Insurance
After one month of service, eligible employees receive life insurance coverage. DELCOM pays
75% of the premium.
Pay for Absence
Employees are provided 10 days of sick leave per year. Pay for absence is also provided for
jury duty, reserve or national guard service, and in family emergencies.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
After 90 days of employment, employees experiencing permanent disability would receive 60%
of their pay as tax-exempt income.
Holidays
All full-time employees receive 10 paid holidays per year.
Vacation
Full-time employees accrue vacation at 10 days per year for the first year, 12 days per year
for the second and third years, and 15 days per year after that.
Flextime
Flextime is an alternative work schedule composed of core time (daily period which everyone
must be present) and flexible time (work hours within which employees may vary times of
arrival, lunch, and departure). Availability of flextime depends on the assignment, but is
generally available.
Tuition Reimbursement
DELCOM pays 100% of tuition, books, fees, and other required expenses for fully-completed
approved courses at accredited schools, colleges, and universities where the final grade is
A or A+. For lower grades, the reimbursement is 75%.

Software Development Engineer
Locations: Various
Numerous positions available to develop sofware for either an
X-Ray Astrophysical Data System or Air Traffic Automation System.
Candidates should have at least a BS in computer/electrical
engineering, computer science, or related work experience. In
addition, candidates should be familiar with some or all of the

Senior Software Development Engineer
Locations: Various
Positions available for development of Phased-Array Radar
software. Candidates would be part of a team developing real-time
applications using Ada. Candidates should have a BS/MS/PhD in
computer/electrical engineering or related work experience. In
addition, candidates should have 4 - 15 years of relevant design and
