VaHomeschoolers
- The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers is your fully inclusive, volunteer
driven, and member directed state homeschool association. Since 1993,
VaHomeschoolers has worked to protect and promote homeschooling through action
in legislative work, assisting homeschoolers on an individual level, and
providing information, speakers, events and resources.
VaEclectic is a large, active list for
in-depth discussion of issues affecting homeschooling, and for news about media
articles and programs, proposed legislation, research, conferences and other
information of interest to Virginia homeschoolers. To join this statewide list,

NHEN (National Home
Education Network)
HEAV (Home
Educators Association of Virginia) HEAV is a non-profit, state-wide
organization with an extensive website that explains the law, how to begin, and
LOTS more. They offer a free magazine, e-newsletter, and legislative updates
and have full-time staff and dedicated volunteers ready to answer questions and
provide counseling. They also publish the Virginia
Homeschool Manual.
Teach-At-Home is a comprehensive Internet resource
center for the homeschool community, including homeschooling news, feature
articles, quick study guides, student quizzes and a categorized, fully
searchable links index.
