The Novels
Update: 14 August 2000
Five translations of Target novelizations were published by Hayakawa
Bunko Publishing in 1980, as part of their line of translated Science Fiction
novels. All of these novels were published under the series title
of "Doctor Who Series" (Dokutaa Huu Shiriizu), and each included a number
of illustrations (many of which contain some wild inaccurates from the
TV Series).
The SF# number refers to their volume number in the Hayakawa Bunko
SF Translation series. The Japanese novel titles often varied greatly
from their original title; where I know the Japanese title, I have included
a transliteration along with a direct, verbatim translation for comparison.
