Sally Dillon creates handpainted silk quilts, scarves, and  clothing drawing on geological and other patterns from nature. She has combined a lifelong interest in maps and aerial views with her full-time occupation as a fabric designer.

The designs on the handpainted silk are derived from satellite photography, hydrological studies, cross-sectional maps and years of travel and observation.
