Some of the imagery in this quilt comes from flotsam on my mantel, the rest from "sightings" at the seashore from Maine to Texas. Included are a horseshoe crab, some tublarian hydroids, colander kelp, a yellow fin tuna, northern red anemone, a Portuguese man-of-war, fire worm and brittle star, (Hand quilting by Janet Hale, Whately, MA.)
