Chronicles need to be written after you play in the larp. This is a record of what happened to your character at the game. The staff needs the chronicles to continue writing for characters. Outlined below is a bit of help in writing a chronicle. If you need more help or samples of a chronicle, please feel free to contact us.

Chronicles are due May 8th. Those who Chronicle by May 1st will get a XP bonus.

What is a Chronicle?

It is an outline of what happened to your character at the larp or "Gathering". It can take any form you like; a journal entry, a letter to a loved one or friend, a story from the first or third person. It can be elaborate and take several pages, it can be a few paragraphs, or it can be a very simple bullet list.

What should a chronicle contain?

First off a bullet list of the following; Who you interacted with and what were the results. Deals or promises you made and if you are going to follow through on them (very important when teaching disciplines). Events you set in motion. Goals you set for yourself and things that you have learned. After the bullet list the chronicle can be presented in whatever style you like.

Why do we need a chronicle?

This is our main and most important contact with the game. The staff can not be every where during a larp and your chronicles will let us know from your perspective what has happened. Without chronicles we will not be able to run the game.

Why do you need to chronicles?

With a chronicle sent in on time you will have personal backgrounds, you will recive full XP for your role playing, you will be allowed to spend XP. You will be able to keep deals and promises made that you outline. You will be able to accomplish the goals you set for yourself. You will have a permanent record of how your character grows and changes through out the run of the game. If you chronicle you get full XP and your character grows to be big and strong. Unlife is good with Chronicles.

What happens if you don't chronicle?

You may loose a title that has been awarded to you. You get very little XP. You are not allowed to spend XP. You'll get no Personal Backgrounds for the next game, just clan and city. You did not follow through on the Promises and deals you may have made at the larp and the other characters may take offense at this. These same characters will pick on you and make fun of you cause you are weak. Unlife is bad without Chronicles.

What happens if you don't chronicle on time?

You may not get personal backgrounds or you may get some. You may not be able to do everything you outlined in your goals but you may do some. You will get reduced XP but it is much better then none. Any chronicle is better then no chronicle at all.

In closing, If you chronicle your character will be popular, strong, more attractive and wealthy. Depending on how you spend your XP. So Chronicle every game.
