PRODUCTION BIOGRAPHIES |
REBECCA KINGSLEY, prior to her work on this production, was the sound editor and image researcher for four-time Academy Award winning documentary filmmaker, Charles Guggenheim. Her entry into film production has been a circuitous one. With a degree in journalism, she has worked in advertising, as a Peace Corps volunteer in Central Africa, as a consultant for the World Bank and the Agency for International Development, and as a Media Producer of CD-ROM software for the National Science Foundation, the Cousteau Foundation and the American Film Institute. This is her first independent film as a producer/director and editor.
DENNIS BONI has been working as a cinematographer and director of photography since 1983, and has shot pieces that have been shown on all the major networks, as well as PBS, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and the Learning Channel. His specialties include super 16mm documentary work as well as 35mm commercial and video shoots.
RAY BRISLIN has over 30 years of experience as an international cinematographer/videographer in all media, including 35mm/16mm film and video tape (high definition included.) BBC-trained in cinematography, his specialties include features, commercials, educational films, documentaries, scientific specials and sports. A winner of several Emmy, Peabody, and Edward R. Murrow awards, Ray has worked on productions for Discovery International, PBS Frontline and National Geographic.
DAISETTE HARMON has 14 years of experience in television and video production management, and 17 years of experience as a videographer, working on documentaries and cable television. Her latest work is the SHaKTI Productions documentary, "The Children We Sacrifice," which was shot on location in Sri Lanka, India, the U.S. and Canada.
ROB LYALL has 11 years of experience in feature, commercial, documentary, corporate and broadcast production in the U.S. and abroad, specializing in high-end location and studio film (35mm and super 16mm), video and high definition production. He has won awards at the Chicago International Film Festival, San Jose Film Festival, Houston International Film Festival, and the Rosebud Film Festival in Washington, D.C. for his work as a producer, director and cinematographer.
MARK RUPPERT is a native Washingtonian and a local shooter, producer and director. He is president of Ruppert Media and Shut the Door Productions. In addition to his work for corporate clients, he has completed two short independent films that are currently screening at film festivals around the country.
