The Marriott Tverskaya is a wonderful hotel for those adopting from Russia. It seems to be very adoption friendly.  There is a fourth floor lounge that is great for meeting other people adopting as well as a place for the little ones to run around a bit. There is a computer located in the lounge that has free high speed internet access. There are a number of restaurants nearby as well as one in the hotel. The Beloruskaya Metro stop is a block away and there is a 24 hour market a block away that has most anything you want including Pampers, cereal, fruit, milk, juice, kefir, yogurt, formula, hot food as well as a nice selection of meats and cheeses. I sampled a number of the meats, cheeses and hot food and found everything was delicious. They also have beer, wine and vodka if need. The restaurants nearby include My Friends which is Italian, Vremya Yest which is kind of a German rathskeller which was excellent, a Japenese and a Russian restaurant as well as Patio Pizza, Rostics chicken and a Sbarro pizza take out. There is also a Kroshka Kortoshka stand which offers baked potatoes with a variety of fillings. I had those a number of times in the 3 1/2 weeks I was there and loved them. It's a small stand across the street from Rostic's.
