Antique Fruit Jars - Hero
Circa 1882 - 1884
1. Two (2) quart size jars, improved neck design, hand made, ground lip in aqua with the following on the side of the jar:
HERO cross over arched MASON'S, over IMPROVED. One jar does not have the "apostrophy" in MASONS.
On the bottom in a circle PAT NOV 26 67 around 33 on one jar & around 42 on the other.
2. One (1) 2 quart size jar, improved neck design, hand made, ground lip in aqua with the side markings the same as # 1 above.
On the bottom in a circle PAT NOV 26 67 around a large 2. This jar has a small chip out of the ground lip.
Circa 1882 - 1884
3. One (1) 2 quart size jar, shoulder seal, tapered neck, hand made, ground lip in aqua with the following on the side of the jar:
HERO cross over arched MASON'S, over PATENT over NOV 30TH over 1858.
On the bottom in a circle PAT NOV 26 67 around 142.

4. One (1) pint size jar, shoulder seal, straight sides, hand made, ground lip in aqua with the following on the side of the jar:
Arched MASON'S over HERO cross over PATENT over NOV 30TH over 1859.
On the bottom in a circle PAT NOV 26 67 around 159.

5. One (1) pint size jar, miniature shoulder seal, tapered sides, hand made, ground lip in aqua with the following on the side of the jar:
Arched MASON'S over PATENT over NOV 30TH over 1859.
On the back of the jar is the HERO cross which can be seen through the jar in the picture.
On the bottom in a circle PAT NOV 26 67 around 45.
