Antique Fruit Jars - Safty Valve
Circa 1895
One (1) quart size jar, glass lid held by metal strip yoke hooking under finish ledge, with spring and cam-lever SAFTY-VALVE closure. Machine made in sun colored amethyst. No text on side of jar.
On the bottom in a circle: SAFTY VALVE and PATD MAY 21 1895 around an H G superimposed over a triangle.
