There's one more spot, I'm seeking, though!
I hope one of these fall days,
her grave to visit, t'let her know,
"Colette, I'll love you always!"

Your gentle face and loving smile, with sadness we recall;
you had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all.
You are not forgotten, nor will you ever be;
as long as life and memory last we will remember thee.
Your loving smile and gentle face;
no one will ever take your vacant place.

  The words written on her marker

  After visiting with her, (11-26-01) I was hit with more poetic urges
  • The first post-visit poem (Here's Looking At You, Col) is here
  • The second (The Twink'ling Of A star) is here
  • When the one year anniversary of her marker's placement, neared, I was poetically inspired again. "One Year Ago 2002" is here.
