it's time to vacuum! |

The bathroom is clean. It does sparkle and shine.
Much effort to do this was shown.
The work now is done and it looks, Oh! So fine!
That room can be now left alone.
For all is in order aft' much toil and sweat;
the bathroom's complete, finished done!
It looks 'bout as good as it's e'er gonna get;
it needs no more focus-no none.
I therefore can concentrate elsewhere becuz'
my bathroom needs no more from me.
It needs no attention; it looks fine, it does!
My next project-what'll it be?
This is a response most would argue with, not;
A reason'ble way to react.
When one thing's in order the next project's sought.
No reason at all to look back.
But though this technique works with rooms suitably,
(when satisfied we can move on)
applied to relationships, it mustn't be
or else you will find it soon gone!
I know! I behaved like the bathroom was clean.
This state gave me license, I felt
to worry 'bout all my untended yet schemes;
t'wards her scant attention was dealt.
And when I looked back and found she wasn't there
and thought, "But 'twas right and
so good."
Reflection reveals I did gaze ev'rywhere
except at that place that I should.
For Lo I had figured, "What
need, then to look?"
'Twas all in an order just right!
But women aren't rooms with just cranny and nook;
my notice was due, day and night.
