And no one would pretend to see
us unlike we appear;
or try to prod us elsewhere when
it's proper we be here.
But though our present status may
correctly be our norm,
tomorrow may impel us to
adjust or to transform.
We might not sense this urge; to be
a problem, it may prove.
If where we are seems right today
why should we need to move?
Our setness can be comforting;
it's safe and danger-free;
while daring forth is filled with risk
and lacks security.
But when we feel it's time--we act.
We'll know and play our part.
The lines will come if we permit.
The prompt will be our heart.
So, even if our views seem set
and yielding, not, to bends,
with just the right nutrition we
will grow as God intends.
