In my heart and mem'ry.
'Twas something that I've
sought for Oh! so long!
Our love now does thrive
in my heart and mem'ry.
It's vivid. It's bright.
It's a love so strong!
For so long...could not touch Colette;
she was out of reach;
any love...couldn't feel.
The canyon between us...this massive breach.
Such a gulf! Huge and Real!
But now, I feel closeness whenever she
enters into my heart.
Our love I can feel--seems to me
we are close--not apart!
couldn't once be facing!
'Twas no sense of love
when she came my way!
But now when she's near...
seems like we're embracing!
