It's Over
Or ![]() by DR Varg When Rick got Ilsa's letter, which declared their time, now o'er, he stood in dazed bewilderment, while rain, on him, did pour!
He stepped upon the train-car steps;
The shock Rick felt, I sensed it too;
The message Ilsa sent to Rick
I got a letter just like that,
But t'was one feature dif'frent in
The letter penned by Ilsa, from
When Rick read Isla's letter, the
And then her words continued on
So Rick and I both got a jolt;
than how I did react. He tossed her letter angrily; while, hers I've saved; intact!
I'm grateful that I din't behave
