I saved them all but couldn't bear
for years, to, at them gaze.
'Twere stored beneath the bed--that's where
they sat throughout this phase.

A gift from her; if it I'd touch
just triggered loss and woe!
Her messages expressed how much
our love was precious, so!

And then I'd sense, "It's here no more!"
All through...our time a pair!
Our love-filled days were finished--o'er!
Each one made me aware!

No joy was stirred up when these gifts
were in my presence, viewed.
But touch them now---my mood, it lifts!
Just happiness is brewed.

So, now they have a home that's Grande!
No more--tucked 'neath the bed!
Displayed they are, with honor and
revered they are instead

of just residing in a place
that's dark and out of sight.
They've all been glorified; they grace
a spot--their presence, bright!

Their impact had, for just so long
caused me to feel so glum!
The Panic Poem detailed this strong
reaction, which did come.

But all these gestures touched by Col;
...feels, now--'twere heaven-sent!
I've framed a bunch---they're on the wall!
A precious monument.

A look her way--I once just frowned!
Our closeness...could not feel!
but now it's present; it's been found
Our love again's so real!

Can gaze at now, all she did touch
and just feel love, intense!
Her gifts stir joy and pleasure, such!
Strong closeness...now--can sense!
