My Towers
by DR Varg
The planes they crashed; the towers fell; and chaos filled the air! The nation's heart was struck and pierced; upheaval ev'rywhere!
These details filled the daily news;
But my reaction, dif'frent was
It seemed my central core had been
And as I floundered weak and spent; my life caught in a churn, ...was shown my towers; splendid weren't! I'm grateful...such, did learn!
With help from others, slowly I
A crisis 'twas! Though, headlines weren't
But t'was so poignant, harrowing! could not imagine it! And when it struck, the tumble came; I fell after the hit!
But time has passed; each day addressed.
But now these structures are rebuilt
So, when you're certain something's firm
But when we're there and facing this
So, sensing...brightness will return ![]() David R. Varg (10-23-01) |
