It'll Be OK! by DR Varg ![]() I've said this to my Bam Bam girl so many times this year! She hears a train--begins to shake! She's overcome with fear!
Those sounds just trigger fright in her!
She's seized yes, by this circumstance;
when this state comes her way. I pat her side and softly speak, "Relax...'twill be ok! "
"It's just a noise; a loud one yes!
The train's off in the distance;
But lo! the moment she gets through;
And though I know the sounds don't mean |

Perhaps, a lesson's here for me;
I know that all is well but she can't feel this, she is scared; her reflex, she can't quell!
And I know all is danger-free
Perhaps when mem'ries come my way,
I can have faith that someone knows
And like the train which stirs things, so
My greyhound's fears, should speak to me;
